Dr. Seth Lawernce
Dr. Seth Lawrence PT, DPT
When Seth’s feet hit the ground every morning, he is thankful for three things, his family, his health and the opportunity to help people grow. In his 20 years in the health and fitness industry, Seth has not only worked with everyday individuals, but also elite athletes. He takes a holistic approach to his therapy, with an emphasis on educating his patients – knowing why you do what you do is just as important as the act itself.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Houston Seth went on to earn his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2008.
Since then Seth has strived to help as many people as possible bridge the gap between health and fitness, and at the same time has continued to further his pursuit of knowledge in this field earning certifications in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Dry Needling, CrossFit level one, Endurance, Olympic lifting and Mobility.
Seth’s dedication is in large part driven by the death of his father, Ernie Lawrence, who died at the age of 61 from early onset Alzheimer’s disease. As an advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association, Seth has hosted and participated in many fundraising events such as “A WOD to Remember” in honor of his father, “Walk to End Alzheimer’s”, and “Blondes vs. Brunettes” flag football game.
Seth is a Director of Physical Therapy and provides seminars, interactive presentations, personal training and rehabilitation, online coaching, and more with the goal of sharing his passion and knowledge to help people on their health and fitness journey.
